The Hope Chest Program is an outreach effort that distributes critical essential items to the homeless population in southern Delaware. We create and deliver care packages provided by your monetary donations or purchases from our Amazon Wishlist. These care packages contain essential items needed for daily living such as personal hygiene supplies; lotion, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, packages of bath cloths, feminine hygiene products, or school supplies. Also, included in the care packages are non-perishable food and water, and at times there may be a gift card, which allows these individuals at a later time to be able to purchase additional supplies, such as hot or cold food, medical or pharmaceutical items. In addition, our Amazon Wishlist also gives donors the ability to contribute with seasonal products such as tents, clothing, insect repellent for summer months, or warm blankets, hand and foot warmers in the winter months which are very much essential items needed by those in the community.
